  • What is EIR?

EIR stands for Embossed-in-Register, providing texturing that follows the wood graining of the design print layer creating realistic wood visuals. If you run your hand over the flooring, you’ll notice something remarkable. You feel fine indentations that match the underlying photograph of a wood plank, similar to the grain of a plank cut from a tree. The embossing that creates the indentations must align perfectly with the image of the wood or stone in order to achieve this extremely realistic 3-dimensional appearance. This precise alignment is known as embossed-in-register (EIR). The embossed physical grain of the wear layer is married to the image film.

  • What is the Herringbone pattern?
The herringbone pattern is named for a fancied resemblance to the bones of a fish such as a herring. And then it becomes one of the most popular flooring designs in the world--an arrangement of rectangles used for floor tilings. One set of our Herringbone flooring has A & B type of pattern, herringbone arranges planks in a zig-zag pattern to produce beautiful results.

Normal size is 127*650mm. We can provide 100*600mm.

What is Painted Bevel?
Painted Bevel is a round edge on the SPC vinyl flooring, it makes the printing film and core layer stick close, more difficult to separate. The painted bevel is preferred by many of the EU and US customers. It gives a better vision effect when finished installation.
